Last few days have been pretty eventful. Between Arya not sleeping through the night and trying to take mini mini steps on her own and learning to send flying kisses - need I say we havent gotten much sleep. It also looks like she is getting at least one of her canines... poor thing is not happy. Probably why she hasnt been sleeping much. Over the past 8-10 days, she has pretty much been sleeping in our bed the whole night or should I say, doing acrobatics on our bed through the night. Not sure why but she has been very restless. Her favorite thing seems to be to get up turn her back to me and then flop down on my face :) I am sure she has fun, cant say the same about me.
Today (5/21/2010) she actually gave flying kisses as she was going for her nap.. aaaawwww.
Yesterday (5/20/2010) she took a mini mini step.
Although everyone keeps saying that I should enjoy the time before she starts walking, I really want her to walk so she can explore more and do more things.
Although my co-workers and other friends keep telling me that I need to let her cry it out to get herself to sleep at night - how can I? She is my little baby and if she needs me I will be there no matter what the cost is. Few sleepless nights is the least I can do for my little angel who has brought so much joy to our life. We just bought her a bunk bed - maybe she will like to sleep in a bed instead of a crib. She doesnt seem to like her crib much. We are hoping that we can transition her to her room once she gets used to her bed... Wish us luck..
More later - right now I need to go have some coffee before I fall asleep on my chair.
